• VGA also needs an audio signal cord. HDMI cords are both audio/visual in a single wire.

• You get what you pay for. What do you expect from Dell? They used to be cheaper but that is not the case anymore. There is no cord.

• Mine also did not come with a VGA cable. It states on the box that the power and HDMI cables are the only ones provided. Hope this helps.
