Yes it does in the picture settings you have to select game mode HDR or movie mode HDR and it looks amazing!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can process an HDR signal but it isn't true HDR. The monitor does display color fantastically but it doesn't get bright enough to watch HDR movies comfortably. HDR requires 2 things. A wide color gamut (the ability to show more depth of colors than standard) and 1000 nits of brightness. This one has the color but it is only 250 nits of brightness. If it can be found for $120 on sale like it was for me, it is worth the compromise to get this and use the HDR limitations it has.
