Is the monitor compatible with a Mac book pro? null

Yes it is. Works great, just make sure you have the proper hookups for it.

Yes and no. We purchased this monitor purposely for a Mac, and upon first connecting the monitor it worked great. However, after a restart the monitor went black and would not show a picture although the Mac understood a connection was there. After a few more restarts and changing configurations it was still black. The monitor only provides window drivers. In the end we had to connect it to a windows computer, then back to the Mac to make it work. Hope this helps!
