• You are better off with a GPU with Display Port. To get that kind of refresh rate via HDMI you will need a card that outputs HDMI 2.0 and and HDMI 2.0 cable. I have 2 of these monitors hooked up. One on HDMI and the other on DP. My HDMI one maxes out at 60 hz. DP maxes out at 144 using a mid range AMD GPU. On my gaming computer I am running 165 hz via DP on a RTX 2070
