“Does this monitor auto-detect input sources? I will be using a display port input from my desktop and a HDMI input from my laptop and wonder if the monitor will know to swap sources based on what is turned on. My current Dell monitor does not.”

• If the monitor is connected to both desktop and laptop then you will have to manually change the input source to swap the display outputs.

• My setup with this monitor is exactly as you described, and it definitely swaps sources based on what is turned on.

• It is intended to, yes. The monitor has an "Auto Select" feature, and it detects if ports receive signal.
