it has both usb-c and HDMI ports for connection.. but I never tried the combination as you described.

Yes, all the HDMI ports are 2.1. USB-A ports can be used for peripherals like keyboards, webcams, or the PS5 HD Camera, but note:
The PS5 HD Camera must connect directly to the PS5 via its own USB port for full functionality (it won’t work if plugged into the monitor’s hub).
The monitor’s USB ports are for PC accessories, not console accessories.
