Kindly try the rear Thunderbolt/USB‑C ports for video. If using HDMI: Use a high‑speed certified 8K HDMI 2.1 cable. Keep the cable ideally under 6 ft (2 meters). Test WITHOUT the KVM To isolate whether the KVM is the problem: Connect the Mac mini → monitor directly (USB‑C or HDMI). Connect the MacBook Air → monitor directly (USB‑C).
