“I have an Xbox one series X but the monitor will not support 1440 resolution with 120 hz. If I select 1440 resolution it changes my refresh rate to 60 hz. If I change the refresh rate to 120 hz, it changes my resolution to 1080p. Help???”

The balance between a higher resolution and performance. It is up to Microsoft to release an update for the Xbox to enable a higher refresh rate. I had this issue with another game where I can get a better refresh rate if I scaled the resolution down.
