• This really depends on the video outputs you have available. This monitor has two HDMI, a DisplayPort and a Mini DisplayPort as well as two USB 3.0 uplink ports and four USB 3.0 downstream ports. It also has a DisplayPort output of your wanted to link multiple monitors together.

• the monitor has multiple input port that allows you to connect multiple computers/laptops at the same time. using the Monitors menu you can change the input source. Also, if you use a Display Port Cable and a Mini Display Port (or thunderBolt) you can share a keyboard and mouse by connecting them the monitor.

• You have several options, I currently have my Work laptop (Dell Win10) & a MBP 2017. You have several options, 1x Display port 1x Mini Display port, & 2x HDMI. I use the mDP for my Dell and the HDMI for my Mac.
