Rated about the same when configured with similar specs...in the end it's more about personal choice. I went to purchase the Surface Pro and saw this baby. XPS feels like a dream with aluminium body. Need to perform all online updates to Dell XPS after setup and u r good 2 go....sweet...no regrets!!!

This innately gives the XPS 2in1 an advantage in greater software compatibility and versatility as the XPS runs proper windows 10 as opposed to the surface pro’s windows RT, which locks you into using only the approved windows store apps. The XPS series also tend towards using good processors as well as an abundance of ram. Their not really gaming laptops but their performance will surprise you as the Intel integrated Graphics have rather come a long way. The XPS is a little heavier but it’s still far from weighty so I wouldn’t really count that against it.
