A:AnswerFrom a hardware standpoint, if you have old hardware stay with the older OS. If you are getting a new machine it is time to accept change. The Windows 10 is
an easy transition and runs well. I had a 10 year old Gigabit motherboard that was rendered useless by the big June 2017 windows 10 update.
A:AnswerNo. Word is part of Office or available as a standalone product. You can also find previous versions onlne for very little money, but it'as not included. There's a good, free Word-compatible word processor in Google Docs as well as LibreOffice.
A:AnswerYes, but if you're considering this PC for gaming, don't! It has no SSD and is full of bloatware. It is designed for general use, not gaming and, IMHO, fails at that level too!
A:AnswerFive at least. I just bought this a month ago and I have five 27" HD monitors hooked up. The card has a HDMI, Displayport and DVI on it so that's three. There are also Displayport and HDMI ports on the tower, so that's two more. I bet you could probably do two more with the USB3 and other ports/adapters if you were so bold.
I use it for stock trading and it works very well, CPU stays in the 10-30% usage area.
A:AnswerYes you can! Depending on the motherboard you got some cheat Z370 motherboards won’t be able to handle it, but something like a high end motherboard from the Z370 series would be able to handle it just fine even better than cheap X299 series. All you will need is to install the latest BIOS for it to work!
