Yes you can! Depending on the motherboard you got some cheat Z370 motherboards won’t be able to handle it, but something like a high end motherboard from the Z370 series would be able to handle it just fine even better than cheap X299 series. All you will need is to install the latest BIOS for it to work!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most likely you can not replace i7 processor with the new i9 Intel processor. The i9 processor requires a (new) R4 socket and is supported by the x299 chipset. You will need the new i9 / X299 motherboard.
