• Personally I'm using a Full HD (1080p) TV via HDMI as my dispaly, so I don't have 1st hand knowledge about the resolution you mentioned. However, according to the specs of the built-in Intel HD Graphics 630, it should be able to pull off 4k resolution. You can check more here:

• No, it works with that resolution because that's what I am using with HP Pavilion 32” with 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution - beautiful video, photo and text.

• No - you don't need to add a graphics card. I'm running 2560x1440 resolution on my ASUS 2K monitor right now from this machine.
