• I don't know what you mean by "any audio". I have connected my speakers using the rear audio out ports (3.5mm), and also used the front audio in port with no problems, right out of the box.

• This computer does have an audio card. I plugged it into my monitor (which has speakers) with an HDMI cable and have had no issues. Check your Control Panel settings (as well as your speakers) to see if there's an issue. I did get an alert that audio enhancements were causing issues and that they were disabled (when accessing the sound settings) but this didn't affect my sound output.

• Yes, my Dell XPS 8920 has audio using the portable speakers I purchased. Just plug your own speakers into the appropriate audio port/s in the back of your Dell tower and select your speakers as the default. Hope this helps!
