• Espresso filter holder seems to be stainless steel. Water tank for espresso is inert plastic (no flavor or odor).

• The reservoir that holds the water is clear plastic with a handle for ease of lifting out and putting in. The filter is small compact charcoal and paper and sits in a plastic holder
