“How do you load the water? Do you have to lift the top lid? If so, what is the height of the unit if water lid is open?”

• For the espresso side, you load from the top. It measures 16" with the lid open. For the coffee maker side, the upper front facing silver part of the machine (fill reservoir and grind filter) swings open from the center. Doesn't really work well if you are looking to place this beneath cabinets.

• Hello, the water is loaded from the top portion of the unit. With the lid open, the unit is about 18 inches. Thank you.
