- Answer I cannot answer the first part. The coffee supposed to be hot, if you need to drink quick add some cold milk.

QuestionI just made my first cup. There was NO crema whatsoever, even my 14 year old espresso maker that I replaced with this one still made crema! Is there a secret? Also I used enough espresso but there was very little flavor and a bit of a tinny taste.

- Answer sounds like not enough ground coffee and/or inadequate tamping. I use two overful scoops then smooth off the top and tamp with light to moderate pressure and a twist. I get good espresso with nice crema every time.

- Answer It uses grounded coffee, and not premade pods. It requires a bit work to put is in, but quality is better and cheaper, and greener.

- Answer My advice is not to buy this product, first of all. It will fail soon. If you have already, make an Americano - prepare an espresso, then put your cup under the steamer and open the valve while it is 'brewing' - hot water will come out the steamer instead. Presto, Americano.
