Hello. We recommend using the HDMI eARC connection from your TV to the soundbar for the best sound and overall experience. Be sure to enable the HDMI Control feature in your LG TV's settings. This will allow your TV to control the soundbar's power and volume. Select the highest quality audio output from your LG TV, which is often labeled as Dolby Digital audio out. In most cases, once the eARC connection is established, the TV and soundbar will automatically communicate to select the appropriate audio output. Thank you for choosing Denon!
