• A:Answer Hello Edward. The first thing to check with your Denon remote are the batteries, aand see if they have been inserted correctly. From there I would look to see if the IR receiver on the Soundbar has been obscured by anything. If you are still experiencing this symptom, here is the phone number for our Customer Care Team. • A:Answer Hello. We recommend using the HDMI eARC connection from your TV to the soundbar for the best sound and overall experience. Be sure to enable the HDMI Control feature in your LG TV's settings. This will allow your TV to control the soundbar's power and volume. Select the highest quality audio output from your LG TV, which is often labeled as Dolby Digital audio out. In most cases, once the eARC connection is established, the TV and soundbar will automatically communicate to select the appropriate audio output. Thank you for choosing Denon!

• A:Answer Hello! The DHT series does not support adding HEOS speakers as surround speakers because it does not have HEOS built-in. If you're looking for this capability, consider the Denon Home SoundBar 550. The 550 includes HEOS built-in and can be expanded with additional HEOS speakers. Best regards, Denon

• A:Answer Hello. When operating your TV remote, the volume setting will reflect in what the Soundbar is delivering. The remote supplied with the DHT-S218 is a learning remote. This means it can be programmed to operate the basic controls of your TV.
