Yes, they will work fine. buy a dvd player. its better than replacing a ps4 there is a spot for a subwoofer. it looks different from the speakers. Yes you need a subwoofer. But if you don't have one and are happy with the sound (and your ears don't bleed), then you don't have to have one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a sub woofer, but you definitely should get one ! ( especially if you watch movies) .The other speakers can just be good bookshelf speakers that you like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to use the Samsung speakers unless they have a proprietary connection to the Samsung Hometheater. If not they will work fine. There is a spot for a subwoofer but you don't need to hook it up. I have a similar setup as you, I have cable, blueray, and 2 XBoxes going thru it and it works great. Just make sure everything is going thru the receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your old speakers should be fine but you will need a powered sub that uses a RCA an input. Some of the Samsung surround systems came with a powered sub that uses RCA. It will depend on your model.
