“Can this unit play on either of two sets of speakers? For example, one set in an interior room is on while another set on the patio is off?”

• Hi. This AVR (AVRS640H) is capable of single zone only, which means it will not play in an interior room and also on the patio simultaneously. However the Denon 7.1 models like AVRS740 or AVRX1500H do that capability.

• Like separate no. But if you have the same music on and you have long enough speaker wire you can possibly do that. Or ask Best buy Geek Squad when your around one.
