“Will the remote for this AVR control a new Samsung 2019 TV, or vice versa, Samsung remote control the receiver? Basic on off of receiver, input source volume control? Or a universal remote work for both? Thanks!”

• No but vice versa. The samsung remote will control the on off function and volume if set up right.
