Hello Fido, Thank you for your inquiry. The AVR-S570BT supports music streaming via Bluetooth from smart devices. Please note that firmware updates are only available for Network AVRs. The USB port on the front of the AVR-S570BT is intended for use with external devices or USB thumb drives for music playback; it does not support firmware updates. If you're looking for network capabilities, including the ability to update firmware, we recommend considering the Denon AVR-S670H model or a higher version.
