“Will this receiver power a passive subwoofer? I have an old Panasonic Kelton subwoofer that was part of an out of the box surround kit, don't want to buy a new sub.”

Hello, Unfortunately - like all other AV receivers - the sub-woofer/LFE output is not powered, so an external amplifier would be required for your passive sub-woofer. Because passive sub-woofers vary significantly in their specifications, it's highly recommended to speak with the manufacturer of your sub-woofer about which amplifiers are a good pairing.
