“My sub woofer plays for movies and tv sound but is silent for the cd player which is plugged into media player with an optical cord. Why will the sub not engage ?”

• I got one with a bad sub port right out of the box so keep a eye on it Denon must be making junk I took mine back and got a Onkyo 696 and believe me the best choice I ever made
