Hello, when connecting the receiver to the TV, be sure to use the HDMI input labeled ARC on the TV. Connect monitor out from the receiver to the HDMI ARC on the TV. If no HDMI ARC input on the TV, use HDMI 1 and put TV input to HDMI 1.
