You can change the Amp Assign as frequently as you need to and switch between using Surround Backs (7.2) or Zone 2. I would recommend using an impedance matching speaker selector switch instead of manually switching the speaker cables out when you want to use the terminals for a certain application. Audyssey has no effect on Zone 2. That's a Main Zone calibration only.
