• A:Answer The Mirage speakers have a minimum impedance of 4 ohms and the Denon receiver is usable with speakers rated between 4 and 16 ohms. The Bose have an 8 ohm impedance and will be easy to drive with the amplifier in the receiver.

• A:Answer Yes the receiver will decode both Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio. The latter are lossless formats and the former are immersive object oriented sound formats that work with either compressed or non-compressed formats.

• A:Answer No you need to use an unviersal remote like Logitech Harmony Companion. Trying to use use hardware controles like CEC never seems to work. Keep in mind with the universal remote like harmony where the location of all the devices you need to control beyond the any devices not located close to the harmony controller that will need to use the hired remote extenders.

• A:Answer It really depends on how loud you listen. The Bose 901 Series 1 Owners Guide states "The 901 can be used with any high quality amplifier. Its efficiency enables operation with moderately powered amplifiers, yet it can be used with the highest powered amplifiers to reproduce undistorted orchestral peaks at high volume levels." However, the older Bose 901's were less efficient and needed more power to listen at loud levels than the newer vented models. Early Bose 901s were of an acoustic suspension design which requires more power all else being equal than the vented designs. The equalization curve in the newer models were also less severe, requiring less power from the amp to get deep bass.

• A:Answer 1 of the HDMI ports is marked DVD player if you look at the pics and check the back of the receiver, also the HDMI ports are assignable. So you should have no problems. But if you meant a built in player, then no there isn't those are usually found in the all in one home theater systems.

• A:Answer Additional information regarding the Bose Active Equalizer.... This receiver does NOT have a tape or external processor loop, which is necessary to use the Bose 901. Thus, regardless of the power requirements, it will NOT work with the Bose or any speaker that needs a specialized active equalizer.
