Yes, I have 7 speaker setup. 5 sony satellite and 2 sony atmos. They are standard speaker wire connection. See attached picture. You can use the banana converter if you want, but works great either way. Hope that helps. This AVR has been an awesome purchae for me.

If it is just playing the same stereo feed to both pairs, all you would need to do is select All Channel Stereo using the red music button. You would connect your speakers to the front left and right speaker terminals, and the surround pair of speaker terminals. If the second pair of speakers are to be used in another room, you would instead connect them to the 'Surround Back' ports and in the AVR-S760H's menu, you would reassign the 'Surround Back' speakers to Zone 2. This way you can enjoy a difference audio to either room. If you have no need for surround sound at all, our DRA-800H is an easier-to-use version of the AVR-S760H designed specifically for people who just want great stereo sound for one or two pairs of speakers.
