This Denon system has outputs for a 2nd zone; but I think you can only do that is you only hook up 5 speakers in your main listening room. I hooked up 7 speakers (including a subwoofer), so there weren’t any speaker outputs left. It was so much easier to connect than my 10 year old Harman Kardin system was 10 years ago. You set up a mic in several locations in the room, and the system automatically adjusts speaker output to optimize the sound in the room.
