• Hello. Speaker wattage ratings indicate what they can handle. It doesn't mean they have to have 300 watts or 100 watts. Most speakers need less than 10 watts to go loud. There aren't many speakers the AVR-S970H cannot drive, but as there is no mention of the make or model number of the speakers you have, we cannot offer any further details.
