Yes and no. You can use the AVR's All Zone Stereo feature (OPTION button on remote) to output an HDMI audio feed to the patio speakers for Zone 2. However, if you power off the Main Zone, then Zone 2 powers off as well. A workaround would be to just lower the volume for the Main Zone as that will not affect Zone 2.
