“I have a 20+ year old Yamaha RX-V420. The Yamaha allowed me to run two main speakers using the A/B speaker select. The AVR X1700H doesn't have this. How do I run my two speakers that's outside under the awning? Did I purchase the wrong receiver?”

• I just got mine so not exactly sure but it looks like you can use 2 of the 7 non sub speaker jacks to feed a zone 2 such as your awning, what i have not figured out is if i can still have 7 speakers in zone 1 at the same time
