The model was produced in 2020; however they have had updates since then to correct the 8k/4K 120htz issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The HDMI chip error is fixed for all units with last 6 digits of serial number higher than 70000. Technically this is a late 2020 model, but chip changes have were made in 2021 and the 8k HDMI port now functions properly. Also, no newer model exists or has been announced, so this is Denon's latest model for now. The unit I purchased in March from Best Buy was the fixed version.
