“I just purchase the Denon AVR-X4700H receiver and looking to put it into a AV Cabinet. the depth of this receiver is 16" and i have a choice of a AV Cabinet W/fans that 18" depth or 24" depth. WHich one would be recommended?”

If you have the space, I would suggest the 24" depth because you will be making cable connections behind the AVR with hdmi and speaker cables and you need adequate space behind the cabinet for all the cables and connections to run in and out. 18" depth may be a little tight. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.18" is going to be pretty tight with all of the cords and cables, especially if you use banana plugs. I'd definitely recommend going with 20" min.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depth is not so much an issue as is the height of the application. Given that heat rises, it's more important to have at least 6 inches of clearance above the unit so the heat can dissipate properly.
