“I have the 4700H and am very happy w/it. However, even though I calibrated it correctly and confirmed all speakers are correct, Audyssy only comes through as 7.1, not 9.1. If I turn off Audyssy, then I get 9.1. Do I need to try reset?”

It could be something is not set correctly in the Amp Assign. Otherwise, if you are trying to output to Front Wides, certain native formats will not recognize them. You may need to add an up-mixing sim like Dolby Surround to the native format. Also, it's worth checking the Speaker Configuration to make sure all assigned channels are set to either Small or Large, in accordance to what you want them to be.
