I'm sorry I do not have experience with the XBox X and the 4700H implementation. You did not say what updated. If it was the 4700H then try this after the firmware update. I would give it a shot although it may be a problem for you with time and restoring personal settings, but reset the unit to factory after the firmware update. It should not lose the firmware update. Just a thought. ALmost like when doing a BIOS/UEFI update in a PC. Hope it works for you.
