“Does this model have an HDMI cable diagnostic test to see what your HDMI cables are rated as far as the speed? If so, how is it done? I don't know why isn't it listed in the manual on how to do it, but it would be helpful”

Hello Advent of L, Here is a chart that might help. The receiver cannot measure your cable specs. But length is also a factor. I send my 4k signal to a projector about 15'-20' away. Even the best HDMI cables can drop signal or have quick black-outs. So I used an ethernet converter/extender. See attached photos. Hope this helps and happy viewing!
