The X3700H can definitely do this, but you will need an impedance matching speaker switch if you want to run all 4 speakers to Zone 2. The AVR only has use of 2 amp channels for a powered Zone 2 application. Another option would be to connect 2 speakers to the AVR's terminals for Zone 2 and then use an external 2 channel amp and run that to the AVR's Zone 2 pre-outs. You can also assign a Zone 2 + Zone 3 if you're running a 5.1 Main Zone. At that point, you can have independent audio to Zone 2 and Zone 3 or the same audio to both zones using the All Zone Stereo feature.
