QuestionSince this has top speakers how low below tv should it be mounted

- Answer My tv is on the wall on a fully articulated mount, with the Soundbar directly below it. The up firing speakers likely reflect some off the front of the tv. I still get some semblance of height effect (about what I expected from a 400 Soundbar). Don’t get me wrong, this is a great budget bar. Just set your Atmos expectations fairly low.

- Answer Hello. Yes - the DHT-S517 can connect to your mobile device's audio feed either with Bluetooth or with an analog audio cable.

QuestionDoes this soundbar work with the Denon Home 150 speakers ?

- Answer Hello, the Denon Home Soundbar 550 is compatible with the Denon Home speakers. With the Denon Home Soundbar 550, the Denon Home 150 speakers can be paired as wireless surround speakers or multi-zone speakers around your home. The speakers cannot be paired with the DHT-S517 soundbar.

Questionit does not say anywhere that it has 4k pass thru i know dolby atmos has to have 4k for true dolby atmos is the hdmi 2.2 or 2.3 thankyou for your time

- Answer Hi blindmelon711, Yes - the DHT-S517 does have 4K pass-through. HDCP 2.3 is also supported. The latest iteration of HDMI is Version 2.1, the connectivity of which the DHT-S517 is compatible.

QuestionCan the sub be used without the sound bar to a demon h3800

- Answer Hello. The subwoofer which comes with the DHT-S517 works exclusively with the provided Soundbar, and is not compatible with the AVR-X3800H. For subwoofer use in the AVR-X3800H's Main Zone, it would need to be hard-wired to the subwoofer pre-out.

- Answer The soundbar itself has a built-in 50 watt amplifier. The subwoofer has 100 watts. It may not seem like a lot, but it fills the room with sound just fine.

- Answer Hello. If your Sony TV has an optical or analog (3.5 mm headphone port) output - which most do - then it will be able to work well with the DHT-S517.

- Answer Hello. The Soundbar connects directly to the TV with either an HDMI (recommended) to the TV's ARC HDMI port, or with an optical cable or an analog cable. Soundbars are designed to be used instead of an AV receiver, rather than with an AV receiver.

- Answer Hello. The DHT-S517's AUX input is an analog input. Electronic digital to analog convertors can allow you to connect your TV's coaxial output to your Soundbar's 3.5mm analog input.

- Answer Yes it should pair fine using the ARC-HDMI input to TV with the proper high speed Cable. Didn’t have to do anything on my Sony TV but plug it in, worked automatically without any programming.
