• I happened to have an old i-phone 6s and it pairs instantly with the Denon. Keep in mind, even the newest apple devices won't stream most hi-rez audio with bluetooth, the highest they'll stream is 24/44.1khz. You're better off using the HEOS app, especially if you're streaming Amazon Ultra HD or Tidal.

• Bluetooth specs are normally backward compatible, but you should verify with Apple regarding the iPhone 6S.
