Good question. yes you can. The DRA-800H can drive two pairs of speakers at the same time, and when it does so, it will be playing from only one source. A Zone 2 feature on a receiver typically refers to the ability to play one source in one room, and the option of playing either the same source, or a different source in another room. To be able to play a different source in the second room, it would require an external power amplifier (connected to the 'Zone 2' pre-out of the DRA-800H) to power the Zone 2 speakers.
