• Comes with an HDMI cable, a short optical cable, and a red/white/yellow cable. No receiver needed. I connected a longer optical cable from the sound bar to the TV.

• Comes with more cables than you will need for the installation. No receiver needed, works off the TV's audio driver.

• The cables needed to connect it come with it so you don't need to buy any other cables. You don't need a receiver for it to function effectively. If you are still contemplating on buying this system I encourage you to do so before they go out of stock.

• No you don't need a receiver yes it comes with all the cables. The optical cable is kinda junky though so you may want to invest in a better one.

• Yes cables are included. No you don't need a receiver, it plugs into the ARC plug and switch your sound input.
