Hi Tobi, Thanks for reaching out to us! A Geek Squad Agent will most likely not stay on the phone for the entirety of your repair, however, you will have the option to leave notes prior to the start of your repair so you can mention anything that you want to keep during that time. Software is not typically removed unless it is malicious in nature or otherwise poses a security risk to the computer.
