Stay away from the Amazon Fires. They're not 100% Android compatible and while you can get to the Play Store, games don't always run after download. Google tells me there are at least 2 files missing that need to be added somehow. I have a couple of the house brand Digiland. They work well with Android games; I play Massive Multiplayer Online games on it, plus some single player time-wasters. I'm happy with them. But the take-away is to be sure they're using an Android O/S, not some heavily modified version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was playing a game on my phone as well but it was difficult to see and storage could be an issue if I played for a while. The tablet was a great alternative. This one was not very expensive and the geek squad helped to sync the game so I didn't have to start all over again.
