Here's a suggestion/solution, though: Obtain a Google Chromecast, configure that, and then cast the screen from this tablet to that. (You need home WiFi (wireless internet), too.) Marshmallow (Android 6.0, included in this Digiland model) definitely then allows casting whatever is on the screen--any Android version from KitKat 4.4.2 and above does, as well. Also, many cast-enabled apps may cast to the screen via Chromecast, as well--independent of direct screen-casting--Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Pandora, Vimeo, Play Music, and other Google Android media apps, etc. also allow such casting. It seems that only a few other low-end tablets offer the HDMI connectivity which you mention.....
