I keep a small inverter in my pickup that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It changes 12v DC into 120v AC. It has 2 regular 120v outlets same as your house and it also has 2 USB outlets for phone or other items that use this type of connection. Inverters are relatively inexpensive and available in a wide variety of stores. A converter changes 120v AC to 12v DC an inverter does the opposite. I also use my inverter to plug in the charger for my cordless impact that I keep in my pickup that I use in case I have a flat tire. I’ve also used my cordless impact to help other people with changing tires on the road. Sure beats the tire tools that come with your vehicle and you can put everything in your trunk pretty easily or under your seat if there’s enough room. I haven’t checked but I’m sure BestBuy has inverters in stock or can order them if you want one. Auto parts and RV supply stores are also a good place to check. They come in a wide variety of sizes and some produce as much wattage as an emergency generator. I keep a 1,000 watt inverter along with an aluminum floor jack, first aide kit etc in a plastic tub behind the pass seat in my pickup which has an extended cab. I’ve used that inverter for a Crock Pot to keep it heated up when I went to help feed some homeless people in town.
