The light itself just weighs a couple ounces. You could tape the mount to the back of the screen. You might also check the manufacturer's website to get their advice. On my monitor, I put a small velcro strip on the back and attach the light mount.

My suggestion would be to use a tripod and place it to the side of the laptop lighting either the right or left side of your face for the best lighting to make your video look more professional.
