- A:Answer I also was told di screen dr had free refills. Just bring empty bottle into store and they would refill free. I have not tried it yet to get fee refill. I’m in Fort Wayne Ind. kinda funny your in Va and I’m in Ind and both of us were told same thing. Sounds like Best Buy went back on their word.

Q: QuestionThe screen on my older truck's radio is jumping around and I believe it is due to oxidation. How effective is this cleaner on that?
Asked by Charleston.
- A:Answer Not sure what "jumping around" means, but I have used something called "CRC 05103 QD Electronic Cleaner" on electrical contact points. I've sprayed it into a portable radio volume control and it worked wonders. I've also used it on the plug of a circular fluorescent ceiling light fixture that had trouble "starting" when switched on and flickered constantly. I suspected that the ballast was bad after changing the bulb, but sprayed the contact before replacing the ballast. Just sprayed on both surfaces of the plug and worked them in and out a few times. It dries very quickly. The face plate on my car radio (very old) makes poor contact at times, so that might be next for me.
