• Handhelds are great for stairs and upholstery. I don't currently have a Dirt Devil (I am using a Dyson), but it is great for quick clean-ups after my cats, and it is really nice to not have to deal with running cords, hoses, and a large vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs.
